| Now, you too can join luminaries such as Prince Andrew, TC off Magnum and, er, Noel Edmonds by piloting your very own swanky helicopter. Okay, so you won't be able to nip over to St Tropez, harass Higgins in Hawaii or whisk Mr Blobby to his next signing session, but you will be able to take control of a sleek and nifty R/C chopper without having to apply for a mortgage.
 The Mini Helicopter R/C Helicopter is the finest entry-level chopper we've ever seen, and even the most maladroit wannabe pilot should be able to get this baby off the ground. Featuring the same on-board computer technology as the popular Intruder R/C Airplane, this wonderful whirlybird has been engineered to make flying a doddle.
The proportional control flight system uses a Scalextric-style trigger unit to regulate altitude and speed, whilst the light but durable body construction means that even Mike Smith-style pilots won't terminally damage the aircraft if it nosedives into the ground.
 The Mini Helicopter Helicopter uses a quick charger that resembles a landing pad and comes complete with a seriously funky 'fuelling' hose - simply attach the hose to the chopper, wait for the light to turn green and you're ready for take off. The Mini Helicopter is pretty much plug-and-play - we got it flying within minutes out of the box.
Once airborne the helicopter will soar to heights of well over 50ft and distances of 300ft. It takes a little while to master the control - basically the harder you squeeze the trigger, the higher it flies in a pretty much forward direction. Ease off the trigger and the Mini Helicopter will lose altitude and start to turn; pull the trigger when it's facing the new direction you want to charge off in.
 Although recommended for outdoor flight only, we couldn't help but try the Mini Helicopter indoors, as its size and lightweight construction seems to lend itself to office flight. With this in mind, may we suggest hovering the Mini Helicopter above a colleague's carefully stacked paperwork whilst loudly humming Flight of the Valkyries and quoting lines from Apocalypse Now. (NB: Firebox cannot replace helicopters that have been plucked from the sky and stamped on as a result of this highly irritating activity).
 For as little as a dinner you're not getting a state of the art, fuel guzzling, iron beast of a 'copter. Control is somewhat erratic and definitely takes some getting used to. In fact make sure you have plenty of space available when you launch because it has an uncanny ability to head straight for the nearest person leaving you to watch helplessly as they scramble for cover. But then that's half the fun isn't it?
All in all we think this is the ultimate airborne plaything for the price conscious chopper shopper.

For the first flight of the day, charge the Mini Helicopter twice in a row before flying.
Please note: Always launch the Mini Helicopter from the charging station - never launch by hand. Keep the helicopter clear of face, eyes and hair at all times. Do not fly the Mini Helicopter in the direction of other people as injuries may result. Pretty straightforward, really.
The manufacturer advises that you fly on a warm and sunny day with no wind. Let the helicopter cool down for a minimum of 10 minutes every 4-5 flights.
Please note: the control method does not alllow for accurate left/right turning.

Bought it for my Husbands' birthday and he absolutely loves it. Prompt delivery , easy to set up & great to fly. I've had a go & our 7 year old daughter - fun for all. Can't wait for the weather to improve so we can get to the park with it again

The biz. I ordered late on the 22/04 and it was delivered on 25/04, what a service! This helicopter is the most fun you can have on your own without breaking any laws (ha ha ha) a must for anyone who remembers airwolf, 10/10.

Although this little chopper looks like a nifty number, don't forget that it only flies for 30 seconds to 2 minutes! There is also a very limited control of direction. All this aside, the price is good and a lot of fun can be gained from this remote controlled helicopter.

Well what I can say, this thing is tough. Almost put it through my next door neighbour's window, car sun roof and also gave his grass a quick trim. Also cut grass in the back garden, gave my trees a trim and almost wrapped it round the pole holding up my basketball ring. Apart from that I have managed to get this thing hovering and flying great. A must buy, a barrel of laughs. Get it now and make all the kids in the street jealous.

Well guys I finally got this baby home! Took me some time so set it up. I was that excited I found it hard to put the 6 million batteries in you need to power this beast. 2 charges later and away we go. Wow, this baby can do some damage! Flight one started by taking out my neighbours fence! Another quick charge and we're away again, this time preying on the local cat. Damn, just missed! One more go and I realise I'm soon gonna be sitting back in the garden chair mowing the lawn. I love this thing! ... WOW! :O)

Well I saw this chopper and had to have it! Ordered on a Monday afternoon delivered Wednesday Morning, WHAT A SERVICE! Its sitting right by my desk as I speak! Im just planning what illness I can have so I can go home early and play. Im gonna be the envy of the kids in my neighbourhood!

This thing is amazing! Ordered it Friday and it came Monday (great service Firebox!) I was a little worried when I first saw it thinking "What have I done with my hard earned cash" But minutes after, I had the thing flying about like Stringfellow hawk on a bad day! Now although getting it to fly in a straight line or getting it to just HOVER is near side of impossible, its amazing to watch! Its also very strong, I've crashed it so many times the last few days I've lost count! However, don't do what my mate did last night and crash it into next door's house at high speed because, well, it kind of broke the tail rotor off! But nothing some super glue didn't sort. Great Chopper, great fun, but stick to big fields and not your garden!

Firebox delivered this in less than 2 days. Brilliant service, brilliant chopper. But very sensitive to winds so try not to fly it too high up. The wind took it so far away that crossed the road and almost hit two cars and two bikers! LOL so much fun. This chopper can take punishement, that's for sure. Flying it in the garden was not a good idea, but as soon as I got in open space, then the fun started. I now need to get the airplane too...but not sure which one.

I understand how this thing works with just a trigger for those who want to know. Simple chopper dynamics...much like a cheap R/C car that can only turn by reversing. If the trigger's pressed, the rotor turns and the chopper goes up and/or forwards. But when its throttled down, the speed of the tail rotor and main rotor slow down, but not before the torque of the main rotor outbalances the tail rotor and the chopper turns on torque alone, thus being able to turn around, although not as efficently as a fully controlled helicopter. Think of it as I said as a cheap R/C car that can only turn backwards compared to a fully controlable R/C car.

This heli is absolutley blinding. Great when using it indoors without the wind,and it can really make the dog jump when hes asleep in his bed and notices some strange contraption hovering above him. by one, by one, by one NOW

This thing looks AMAZING for the price. The only thing that bothers me is the possible lack of control. can you control yaw and pitch or is it only up and down??
